After skipping the 1998 O'Neill show in the Fall due to both personal and system-wide tragedy, the 1999 O'Neill show came back with a ramped up political message about the relationships between police and people with mental illnesses. Featuring Becca Atkins's parody called West Wing Story, a musical set in the west wing of a psychiatric hospital and a cop who is committed after an OCD related incident in a donut shop, this show packed a punch for audience and actors alike.
